TEEM has successfully assisted our client to obtain the Platinum rating of LEED BD+C (Core and Shell) Pre-Certification Assessment with an outstanding performance of 84 scores. Central Plaza Ancillary Block Annex is located at Wanchai, comprises of 3 levels with approximate lettable office area of 23,362 sq. ft., and 6,600 sq. ft. sky podium and green rooftop.
Remarkable sustainable green
features are adopted in the building:-
● Extensive green landscape provision
in highly dense Central Business District;
● Rainwater recycling system to reduce
fresh water consumption for irrigation of about 30%;
● High performance oil-free
centrifugal chiller and VAV systems for space cooling;
● 30% addition fresh air supply for
indoor environmental quality;
● Triple glazed curtain wall system to
allow plentiful of daylight and reduce solar heat gain, contributing to
reduction of space cooling energy demand, achieving overall building energy
saving of over 20%;
● High water use efficiency sanitary
fitment which consume 61% less than
original buildings;
● Adoption of low-emitting materials
and regional construction materials to reduce building embodied carbon;
● Intelligent building management systems incorporating with the existing system for office tower to allow prompt and effective control on E&M systems to ensure occupant comfort and overall building energy efficiency.
With the LEED Design Certification and BEAM Plus Certification under assessment, the Central Plaza Ancillary Block will become a prominent double-certified sustainable landmark building in the district.
